About Inverter motor end surge voltage suppression filter
When a 400 V class motor is driven by an inverter, a surge voltage exceeding the insulation level of the motor winding wire may be generated depending on the power-supply voltage, cable constant, wire length, etc. Prolonged and repeated application of such a voltage may degrade the insulation of the motor winding wire.
Be sure to install this filter when driving a motor other than an insulation-reinforced motor.
Features
Motor end surge voltage (micro surge) suppression
Install this filter when driving a 400 V class motor other than an insulation-reinforced motor.

Prevention of leak current from the motor wire
If the motor wire is long, the charging current flowing to the electrostatic capacitance of the cable may affect the operation.
・Malfunction of the earth leakage circuit breaker
・Malfunction of the thermal relay
・Malfunction of the overcurrent protection function
The filter can also be used to prevent these malfunctions.
